Principal & owner

Lauren Rautbord

Over three decades, Lauren's easy, elegant spaces have won her a loyal clientele throughout the Upper Midwest and the Phoenix area.

Clients value her open, friendly style, her gift for helping them discover what they really want, and her firsthand knowledge of how families live at every stage of life.

Lauren earned her degree at the Harrington School of Design in Chicago and founded the firm with the late Paul Marchetti, one of Chicago's leading style makers. Seeing great potential in Scottsdale, she relocated the business, which has thrived ever since, and PLD's work has followed its clients to second homes in San Diego, Park City, Idaho, Texas and Montana.

Lauren is the visionary of the company. She stays hands-on through every stage of every project, and deliberately manages the size of the firm so that never changes.
