02Which areas do you serve?
PLD designs homes throughout the Phoenix and Scottsdale area, including Silverleaf, DC Ranch, Paradise Valley and the Biltmore, and follows clients to Chicago and the North Shore, Coeur d'Alene and Sun Valley in Idaho, Aspen, Park City, San Diego and Southern California, Texas and Montana.
03What is Paul Lauren Designs' design style?
Serene, uncluttered spaces that are sumptuously livable: neutral palettes, luxurious fabrics, a mix of vintage and contemporary pieces, and rooms that embrace their views: sophisticated but never fussy.
04Who leads the design of my project?
Principal designer Lauren Rautbord, who has more than 30 years of interior design experience, is personally involved at every stage. The firm deliberately manages its project load so Lauren can stay hands-on with each home. Lauren is joined by partner Kendra Vaughn.
05Do you take on new construction and renovations?
Yes. PLD collaborates with architects and builders on new construction, leads kitchen, bath and whole-home renovations, and furnishes spec and model homes for builders.
06Do you design second homes and vacation properties?
Yes. Many clients engage PLD for mountain, lake and coastal homes (the portfolio includes projects in Aspen, Sun Valley, Coeur d'Alene and Pacific Palisades), delivered turnkey so the home is ready on arrival.

08What is Lauren Rautbord's background?
Lauren studied at the Harrington School of Design in Chicago and co-founded the firm with the late Paul Marchetti, a leading Chicago tastemaker. She later relocated the business to Scottsdale, where it has thrived.
